Emergence client, Stepson Technologies, selected for Canadian Technology Accelerator in Philadelphia

Charlottetown, PEI-based Emergence client, Stepscan Technologies Inc., has been selected to be one of six Canadian companies to participate in the Canadian Technology Accelerator’s Health IT (CTA HIT).

stepscan_logoCTA helps to connect Canadian technology companies to U.S. markets, providing opportunities for investment and partnerships. The six-month HIT program focuses on Philadelphia as a hub for the healthcare service market.

Stepson Technologies is a Canadian technology company dedicated to the development and commercialization of its two patents in the field of movement tracking and analysis. The company’s pressure sensitive flooring system has many applications beyond medical research and clinical rehabilitation, including sports training and clinical drug trials, as well as military training /virtual simulation and security.

Trevors travelled to Philadelphia in mid-October to launch the six-month intensive CTA Bootcamp, with monthly trips anticipated until March 2018.

In September 2017, Stepscan upgraded to Version 2.1 of their Stepscan® gait analysis software. This newest version features multiple report enhancements and improved data sharing capabilities.
