Through the improved market access conditions CETA creates, new opportunities in Europe, job creation, and open markets in Europe, the agreement presents many opportunities for Canadian business.

Despite these advances, careful preparation is required to enter the EU market which starts with learning about the CETA itself.

Trade Team PEI, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada and Export Development Canada, will be hosting a half day workshop to offer comprehensive information regarding Canada’s most ambitious trade initiative, allowing you the opportunity to ask questions and get the information you need.

They will welcome H. David Plunkett, former Canadian Ambassador to the European Union as a key presenter.

Global Affairs Canada, Export Development Canada, and Trade Team PEI will also have several subject experts on site to facilitate workshops, and help answer your questions regarding CETA.

For any company currently exporting within to the European Union, or considering expanding entering into this market for the first time, this session is a must attend event.

You will have great networking opportunities to connect with trade experts who can help your business, meet other Island exporters with experience in this market and come away with key insights that can help you chart a course for success in advance of this new trade agreement coming into force.

We look forward to seeing you there. For further information, just click here! To RSVP please email Alicia Birt at albirt@gov.pe.ca
