Charlottetown, PEI-based Emergence client, Stepscan Technologies Inc., has been selected to be one of six Canadian companies to participate in the Canadian Technology Accelerator’s Health IT (CTA HIT).
CTA helps to connect Canadian technology companies to U.S. markets, providing opportunities for investment and partnerships. The six-month HIT program focuses on Philadelphia as a hub for the healthcare service market.
Stepson Technologies is a Canadian technology company dedicated to the development and commercialization of its two patents in the field of movement tracking and analysis. “StepScan has participated in a few programs, like 48 Hours in the HUB”, President and CEO, Crystal Trevors, told us. “Hopefully working with CTA will help to increase our presence in the US market”.
Trevors travelled to Philadelphia in mid-October to launch the six-month intensive CTA Bootcamp, with monthly trips anticipated until March 2018.
In September 2017, Stepscan upgraded to Version 2.1 of their Stepscan® gait analysis software. This newest version features multiple report enhancements and improved data sharing capabilities.
